Frozen Fruit Punch
You may have had something similar to this fizzy drink at a wedding or party. It’s easy to make ahead of time so it’s a great drink to serve at cookouts, parties, weddings, or other family events. Or, you can make a batch to keep on hand for your little ones. Your kids will love it. To make this frozen fruit punch you’ll need:
- 3 cups of orange juice
- 3 cups pineapple juice
- 3 bananas
- splash of lemon juice
- lemon-lime soda
Just blend all the juices and the bananas, then freeze the mixture for later. When you’re ready for the drink, let it thaw until it becomes a slushy, then stir in equal parts lemon-lime soda. If you want to serve it quicker you can skip the freezer and serve the drink with ice instead.
Raspberry Pineapple Banana Smoothie
This recipe is great because it packs several servings of fruit into one drink. It’s a yummy, creamy, nutritious treat that you’ll like just as much as your kids. Plus, there’s no freezer time for this one. Just grab a blender and blend the ingredients until their smooth.
- 5 ice cubes
- 1 ripe banana
- 12 raspberries
- 1/2 cup of low-fat vanilla yogurt
- 1 cup of undrained crushed pineapples

Watermelon Lemonade
This watermelon lemonade is a great drink to make for a kid’s party. It’s light, sweet, and refreshing. It takes a little more work than the other recipes on our list, but we promise the results will be worth it. What you’ll need:
- 1 large watermelon
- 1 cup of lemon juice
- 8 tablespoons of caster sugar
- 1-liter bottle of soda water
- lime and mint for garnish
- crushed ice
To make this drink, cut off the top of the watermelon and scoop out the flesh, de-seeding as you go. Next, mash the flesh through a sieve. Blend the watermelon, lemon juice, and sugar into a puree. Finally, stir in the soda water and serve with ice and garnish.
